Memberships are offered at great rates to allow for daily workouts at cost affective class prices, we therefore do not offer a hold on memberships due to Covid, flu or any acute illnesses. Please see membership terms for more info

For your peace of mind and safety we keep our studios sterilised and clean thoroughly after every class and will continue to be vigilant during and after COVID-19.

We are now offering an online platform of classes to join in the fun from home, so join our @MyHome video series that are now up online with over 200 classes to choose from. Exercise is the best form of defence against all viruses, so keep your immune systems strong and able to fight nasty bugs!

Liza Hodette Kloeckner trading as @theBarre Studios and all @theBarre employees releases all liability for in person and online workouts. If you have a serious medical condition please send us written notification that you are allowed to train with us. This is for your safety and protection. Due to qualification limitations we are not able to teach geriatrics.

Dishonor Fees and Chargebacks

Re dishonour fees- Please note that a fee of $10.00 per day will be charged for any credit card/debit card charge not honoured by the bank for any reason when processing.

Re charge backs- Please be aware you are agreeing that @ theBarre Studios may charge your credit card on file $44 for a charge back request as this is what our providers Ezidebit charge for such a request. So please call the studio if you have any issues before starting such a process to resolve.

Pre-Booking Policy

As our studio is an intimate space, our class sizes are limited for your comfort.  We strongly recommend you to pre-book online to reserve your place to avoid disappointment.
If you pre-book a class and fail to attend for any reason, you will be automatically charged for the class, 

 Cancellation policy for classes

We all have good intentions of getting to our booked barre class, but realistically there are days when making it to class just isn't going to happen. On those days, it's important to keep our class cancellation policy in mind to avoid studio late cancel and no-show charges. Boutique studio's offer small class numbers so letting us know early allows us to offer the class to someone on a wait list to avoid the disappointment of not getting into your favourite class. The rules apply to memberships and package deals alike. The classes can easily be re-scheduled at the click of a button on your app or computer. You can cancel your booking up to 6 hours prior to day and evening classes and the night before for early morning classes. Please note, if you book a class and do not attend you will be charged a no-show charge. If you are attending our studio on Packages or partner passes, you will surrender that pass for the missed class. Memberships who do not show will be charged a $10 no- show fee debited from their accounts.

Private session: We will need 24 hours’ notice or you will be charged. No refunds available. 

Semi-private, shared session: We will need 24 hours' notice or you will be charged. If one party can’t make a session they are able to make up that session in one of our regular studio classes. You may also transfer your semi private pass to a friend. No refunds available.

The good news is you can book into class up to the start of class. If the booking window has closed please don't hesitate to contact the studio via phone or text to enquire if there is a late space available for you.

Cancellation policy for Memberships

 Monthly contracts may  be cancelled  only with full written consent of the client and written agreement of @theBarre Studios PTY LTD.  Members must join on either a 12 week Gold membership or 2x weekly Silver membership or a 6 month upfront (Platinum) to receive the lowest price set by the studio. Should the Client, however, terminate the contract prior to the expiration of the term, the Client is responsible to pay the remaining charges that otherwise would have incurred by the Client for the remainder of the contract and @theBarre Studios PTY LTD is authorized to make a final payments with the credit card on file. Contract will auto renew annually. If a Client does not wish to auto renew, they may email us to cancel. If Client fails to give written notification, the Client agrees to additional month-to-month agreement with 30 days written notice of cancellation. 

Non-Payment Enforcement: In the event that @theBarre Studios PTY LTD must resort to retaining an attorney or collection agency to enforce payment under this agreement, members must agree to pay any and all resulting charges incurred by @theBarre Studios PTY LTD, including but not limited to costs of court and attorney's fees.

Electronic purchase of a membership is legal and binding confirmation of this contract.

Class Protocols

@TheBarre reserves the right to cancel and change teachers, classes, workshops and events without prior notice as a teacher may need an emergency cover. Classes are either 45 or 50 minutes. Please arrive 5 minutes early to set up and plan to stay for the full class as leaving class early both disrespects the other members and can pose a danger to you and others as we use equipment and move around constantly in a small space or may be meditating at the end. No mobiles please in classes. Grip socks are compulsory and must be worn for hygiene and safety reasons.

NB* No children and dogs are allowed @theBarre Studios. Unfortunately there no exceptions to this rule.

Privacy Policy

@theBarre Studios ensures your details  are kept private. Any information we collect in relation to you is kept strictly confidential. We do not pass on information or sell to third parties any of your personal details. 

Returns & Refund policy

All purchases are non-exchangeable, non-refundable or non-transferable. Please note semi-private and private bookings cannot be exchanged for class passes.                   Courses cannot be exchanged for class passes

ClassPass Studios Policy

You may not cancel @theBarre memberships to return to the studio on 'ClassPass' passes for 1 year if you have already been a member of @theBarre studio. @theBarre allows studio passes only for new clients as an introduction to the studio.

Intro One Month Unlimited classes $130

Terms and conditions apply. 1 voucher only per person. The $130 Introductory unlimited classes is a consecutive 30 days that begins on the 1st day you take a class. This 1 month pass cannot be put on hold. This offer is for new clients only and also excludes members who have previously purchased 2 weeks intro pass, Groupon  or Living Social deals or from any partner pass companies as each are an introductory pricing offer to the studio. 

Platinum - 6 Months Paid Upfront Membership

Terms and conditions apply. Includes unlimited group fitness/Barre classes. Once off payment non- refundable. See Prices for more details. Use of the studio must be during staffed hours. Members must join on a 6 month rewards membership to receive the lowest price set by the studio. Packages                                             

Terms and conditions apply. Packages 10 sessions valid for 3 months from purchase date. Packages 20 sessions valid for 6 months from purchase date. Please ensure you use your packages in the allocated time period as we cannot extend these offers. Exceptions apply for injury or serious illness but will need to have a doctors certificate to support an extension. See Prices for more details. 

Suspend your Monthly Memberships

 Going on a fab filled holiday? Why not hold your membership! We offer for you to place memberships on hold  for a total of 2 weeks annually at no cost. You are welcome to pause your membership each time for a minimum of 7 days. Additional weeks may be put on hold at a fee of $20 per week which offers our online platform instead to use anywhere anytime staying fit and healthy whilst away. Exceptions are offered for injury or serious illness and you are excluded from having to pay fees, but will need to have a doctors certificate to support an extended suspension. NB*Hold fees allow members to remain on their existing contract, locking in their continuing membership rate. Cancellation of Membership loses their existing rate and re-joining may cost a higher annual rate. Members must join on a 12 week rewards membership to receive the lowest price set by the studio. This membership may not be transferred or shared.  NB* You will need to let us know 2 weeks prior to going away to place memberships on hold. You will also need to let us know 30 days in advance of any change to credit card or bank details so we may adjust you contract. For more on monthly memberships click here

Membership upgrade or downgrade

@theBarre members may swap their memberships to one that is more suitable. NB* Ts & Cs apply. Simply email us to upgrade to Gold or Platinum from Silver or downgrade to Silver Memberships from Platinum to suit your fitness needs. * NB There is a 16 week minimum term for any revised memberships and a 16 week term to downgrade from Gold to Silver membership.

Private Pilates Mat session

Terms and conditions apply. Classes can be cancelled up to 24 hours before a private session begins to allow another member who may be weight listed an opportunity to book that time slot instead.  If you are a no show or a late cancellation your account will be charged for that session. Refer to packages below. See Prices for more details. Appointments are subject to availability. Members with set weekly times get priority booking.

Shared Pilates Mat Session

Gift Cards

Gift cards are not intended for personal purchase but rather to be gifted to another individual/s. Gift card recipients must set up a Mindbody account with the studio and email through their gift card details in order for their account to be credited with their passes. Regular studio policies and T&Cs apply to gift card passes.

Studio hire conditions

Studio must be left in the condition it was found and must be cleaned and tidied before departure. @theBarre is not responsible for any injuries to the contractees plus their guests. The hirer is liable for any damage to the studio during the time the studio is hired out. We require 24 hours notice to cancel the booked sessions or charges will apply. The hirer must provide their own personal insurance if they are teaching others. Please provide your own First Aid equipment when you have children onsite and send the studio your work with children permits.
